I have been recently slowly developing my profile on second life. What attracts me to second life is this potential for people to meet on a level setting. Now we have all heard of online dating where the person was great online and in your imagination was possibly the perfect partner only to discover in reality that it was someone quite different. While this is quite worrying if you are looking for true love. It is not the same if you are wanting to interact with people in social, business groups etc. Second life really comes into play because it allows people with disabilities to compete on the same level. An avatar looks the way you want it to look. I can imagine that people with physical handicaps, speech problems will be able to do things in a whole new way. The stigma associated with such problems will be nonexistent. This has got to be a great way forward. I am so enthusiastic about it maybe I am going to get paid in Linden dollars…..
