What started as a conversation many months ago and was a blog topic on my colleagues blogging site is now very near completion. To say that we are excited is putting it mildly. Why are we so excited? The website that is due to go live next week really should have been on the internet a long time ago. To date, as far as I know, and possibly due to the complexity of psychology and many potential legal issues, no one has taken on the wide ranging issues regarding mental health on a web 2.0 platform.
I can understand some of the concerns. Still we believe it is an issue that needs to be addressed and can be addressed. As our acceptance of theses issue grows and knowledge increases as a result of TV programs like the one made by Stephen Fry recently about bi-polar disorders, a faint hope is emerging for those who suffer in bewilderment regarding what is common ground to most of bi-polar clients. Due to lack of information treatment is still not easily available to the people who need help.
The site will include audio downloads, blogging, advice, with interactive chat to follow. We whole heartedly support the discussion of these topics with one of the most stressful times in the year coming shortly. We hope that this website will prove to be financially successful and make the world a little better. All I can say now is watch this site for more news to follow
The tea is on you
