I had expected Microsoft’s latest’s offerings to final live up to the dream of hassle free installation and use. It seems now a rather optimistic thought. Having purchased Vista and done an office upgrade I was reminded of Windows 95 installation days . The have designed a whole series technologies to support you upgrade or transition which involves there online support center . While the concept is great. It is still not possible to prepare for the unexpected, except by returning to your previous operating system. Some of ideas are that you can invite friends to help you or If a problem occurs you get sent to the Microsoft website. For me unfortunately I was told there is no solution at present for my problem. Is this a step in the right direction for customer service? It does not help me when I have documents to send and a deadline to meet. As with any problem by definition you do not know how long it will take to solve. Though I do say It is best software on the market at the moment. Intill we see Googles offering
The tea is on you
